Business Owners:

If you could donate $1000 to help provide a St. Gabriel parishioner with a catholic education and only really spend less than $100, would you? 

¨ Businesses in Pennsylvania can donate to the BLOCS program, which provides need based scholarships to help pay Catholic School Tuition. 

 ¨ These donation qualify for the Educational Improvement Tax Credit, which allows for a tax credit of up to 90% of the amount of your donation.

¨ Money donated to this program can be designated directly to a qualifying St. Gabriel Parishioner attending St. James Regional Catholic School.

 ¨ There is a simple, one page application to complete and submit.

 ¨ Deadlines for submitting your application for first time participants in the EITC program is July 2, 2012 for C corporations and July 9, 2012 for S corporations and partnerships.

 ¨ Applications and directions are available from the BLOCS website:  www.blocs.org.  Information about the tax credit is also available at www.newpa.com/eitc.
